Michael-Jackson-Music.com,
in memory of Michael...
Is there anyone on the planet more recognizable or
adored than Michael
Jackson?
I personally do not believe there is. He has garnered
acclaim
from everyone over the world, and even in death, he is still insanely
popular.
Now, a new generation of his followers are here, thanks
in
part to the extreme sadness of his sudden death at 50. There is one
thing that is for sure, no one can ever hope to compete with the
legendary and exemplary talent that has defined this amazing
individual.
One of the greatest things that Michael Jackson was
known for, was his
mesmerizing dance moves. When he performed the Moonwalk for the first
time at his performance at the Motown's 25-anniversary show, mouths
fell open, and everyone was in complete awe. No one had ever seen
anything like that, and it is just one of many of Michael's signature
moves that always left the audiences astounded and caught up in the
magic of the man.
Michael Jackson was a perfectionist, and worked
tirelessly to make sure
that every move and song he ever did was the best possible. When he
felt he hadn't done is best, he was depressed and very self-critical.
Although the world saw his performance at Motown's 25th anniversary as
flawless, he was disappointed in himself, upset that he didn't stay on
his toes longer at the end of the dance. This is why Michael Jackson
never had any rivals, and never will. He was the most dedicated and
caring performer to ever grace the stage, and will always be remembered
for his superb accomplishments, both onstage and off.
When he was in the Jackson Five, Michael Jackson performed different
robotic dance moves, with Dancing Machine being the very most popular.
Fred Astaire, has even asked him after doing the
moonwalk, how he
pulled off such an amazing dancing feat. Few people have ever come
close to being able to dance as Fred Astaire, and to have the man
marvel at your dancing is genuinely amazing.
Ever since he first appeared on stage, the world has been trying to
dance like the man.
With moves that seem implausible, like the
45-degree lean in Smooth Criminal, to the famous Moonwalk, people that
have come after have always tried to emulate him. The Smooth Criminal
lean, although it appears as if wires or cables were used, it was
actually shoes that allowed Michael and his dancers to defy gravity.
They were specially made to let the person wearing them go beyond their
center of gravity. Still, illusion or not, it is genius.
It is an undisputed fact that Michael Jackson loved and
helped children
all over the world. He set up the Heal the World Foundation in 1992,
aiming for the safety and healthy development of the world's children.
Michael was abused by his father as a child, and the reason for his
supreme care and devotion to children, as well as his child like love
for things. He never had a childhood, so as an adult, he surrounded
himself with things that he missed as a child. He wasn't weird or odd;
he was just a man who was denied his childhood, made to perform
constantly. Although he always loved performing, his childhood was
always something he tried to reproduce in his adult life.
His genuine
care and love for children and the world was always apparent, and there
was nothing in the least bit criminal about any of it. Sadly, he was
taken advantage of by people who cared more for money than causing
devastation to their children's or to Michael Jackson's life. However,
people that know the man, will forever know in their hearts that he was
innocent.
